This week I helped the kids with math to start. They all have little packets and with each number 1-10. For example, on number five, they have to draw 5 things such as stars, hearts, smiley faces, then they draw 5 tally's, next there are two boxes, one says +1, one says -1, so it'd be 6 & 4. Then they have to trace the number, and word. Alot of the kids needed my help, which i didn't mind, i actually really enjoy teaching them and they are so sweet it usually ends with "thanks your the best teacher ever" and it just feels nice. I surprisingly agree with James on the trophies situation, we can't keep raising these kids to be babies kind of situation. If you don't win, its not the end of the world its just more fuel to keep trying harder and really pursuing what you want. Just because you tried, doesn't mean it was good enough and we all know that. This world today is really cradling their kids and making them believe that they deserve trophies and prizes just for trying, which i don't understand, because its not the point of a trophie. The point is you don't always win, and you have to accept that, its life, we cant raise cry babies or they truly will never make it in the real world. Tough love is the best kind.
